Each band instrument has something intriguing to offer, whether it be the shape of the instrument itself, where that particular instrument section sits in the band, what it is made of, the sound that is produced when the musical instrument is played, and much more. So why pay the bells\/mallet percussion? There are many great reasons to play bells\/mallet percussion in school band:<\/p>\n<p class=\"color2-color\">\u2666 There is very little to assemble on bells\/mallet percussion, unless you have to move it from room to room for some reason. All you have to do is set up the stand and attach the bells to it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"color2-color\">\u2666 Bells\/Mallet percussion&#8230;.so when you play bells\/mallet percussion in band, you play a key role in the group&#8217;s success.<\/p>\n<p class=\"color2-color\">\u2666 If you learn to play the bells\/mallet percussion well, you will have no problem in getting scholarships for college. There aren&#8217;t as many percussion players who play mallet percussion, too, so the pool of players available to join college bands while specializing on mallets is lower, which essentially improves your chances in getting financial aid for higher learning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"color2-color\">\u2666 Sometimes schools will provide students with bells\/mallet percussion, especially the larger units. But in the beginning and beyond, you&#8217;ll need to rent your own set of bells\/mallet percussion. If you plan on practicing, particularly at home (which you should, of course), you&#8217;ll be glad that you have your own set of bells\/mallets.
